Sad to say CZ have no immediate plans for putting the CZ958 into production. The plant is gearing up to produce 20,000 EVO 3 pistols for the US and we are left whistling. :mad:

Understandably we are not at all pleased with the situation and this came as a complete surprize to me when I was told this at the Shot Show.

We should still be receiving the 400 CZ 858 rifles and this will be the last of them for the foreseeable future.
 
Wowwwww that's a shocker. Floored by this announcement. Did they give you a ballpark ETA for contract completion and putting this back on the table?

What will the price per unit be for the 858
 
Oh wow! What a slap in the face that is! Very sorry to hear that as LOTS of Canadians were looking forward to this rifle!

This might actually be a good thing as our dollar is so terrible currently, a 958 would probably end up close to $1500 by the time it gets into our hands. If things improve this year (hopefully) it may make it cheaper.

Hahahaha. Improve this year. Have you seen who is at the helm of this nation right now?

As for the skorpioj evo3 is there any chances of it coming to canada?
 
Thanks for the head's Up Mr. Wolverine. A lot of work, effort and upfront development costs on your part. This could put the project back years?
Any thought of cross engineering from a prototype ?
I'm thinking Philipenes, China, Turkey???
 
Are the 858s going to benon restricted with chrome lined barrels? I'm pretty sure they wont be chrome lined but the others I have no idea.

Lol you and the other 5,000 CGNers who have been waiting anxiously for a big shipment. I have a feeling that once Wolverine unpacks the container and lists them for sale online, they're going to have one hell of a busy day.
 
well,,this might be there best time sell my Canadian Edition unfired 858...LOL,,had it 3 years,,still sitting in the safe,,
