CZ 958 UPDATE Jan 2016

Wow. My heart just sank. I've been following the saga of the 958 and eagerly waiting for it since you first mentioned it in September of 2013.

What a terrible turn of events. I can't imagine how disappointed you must be.
 
1) Who owns the blueprints for the 958; Wolverine or CZ ?

2) If Wolverine owns the blueprints;
Could you theoretically take the blueprints somewhere else to have the rifles produced ?

It wont be the year of the magazine either as the RCMP plan on making 2016 "the year of the magazine" ... presumably tackling the LAR mags, beowulf etc... according to a few sources from their firearms lab.
 
What stocks with the 400 CZ 858's come with? Wood? impregnated plastic? Canadian editions?

Also, does the cz958 have issues with the rail on top when ejecting?

Afraid to say, this news just saved Canadian gun enthusiasts alot of money, and future heartache. "Justine" Tru-Dough will (Mark My Word) totally prohibit any caliber of semi-automatic firearm.

He doesn't have any because he's full of sh*t.

The 958 issue is disappointing but realistically there's no reason for them to pump out any now that the 858's are back to NR status. If they were to start producing 958's then they'd also have to deal with any of the new QC/function issues that are bound to arise (as they do with any new production gun). It's easier and more profitable for them to stick with the tried and true 858's. Also, anyone peddling the "Trudough gon tek r gunz" sh*t is a moron. Yeah, given the opportunity the Liberal government will throw up some anti-gun legislation but until a mass shooting happens they won't have the political capital to carry it out. What you all need to do is keep emailing/calling your local MPs and letting them know how you feel (without sounding like an idiot).

Yes, and four people died. You can tell there going to use this agaisnt us to.
Natives kill eachother in hobema everyweek and you hear nothing about it.

Since the media is blowing this one up you just know its going to be used against us.
Obviously they have to report on it, but this happens so much and you rarely hear about it
