Cz 97 b

Hi

Great gun. You might also be happy with a Tanfoglio Combat in .45 ACP, which is essentially the same gun, but about $300 less.

Its a CZ so its gonna go bang every time you pull the trigger. Great gun still cant choose between a r8 and a CZ97b for my next pistol purchase just wished they made a CZ97 SP 01 that would be so sweet. Another plus with the CZ97b is its a factory 10 round gun so no need for thoes crapy plastic chunks at the bottom of the mags.

Accurate, soft shooting and reliable. A bit on the large side but not a problem unless you have really small hands.

Great gun Large frame sights aren't the best. (mine is a older one bought used in 2007 ) Newer ones have improved the sights. Soft shooting is right. The action is very smooth. Well built gun. I have had mine for years and It's a one I would not part with. but you need to hold it. It has a large grip.

I never liked my CZ97B and sold it within a couple months. I thought it wasn't well balanced and bought a Sig P220. Never looked back.

Most shooters like the 97b, but it didn't feel right for me. Same with the 1911. The Sig platform is just a better fit for me.

I liked the beefy grip on the CZ97b, just thought it was a top heavy pistol and the balance didn't feel right to me. I'd suggest to hold and fire one if possible before you buy. I had a CZ75b and really liked it, a totally different animal. If you have small hands, the 97b will be a problem for you.

For $70 more I'd buy a single stack Sig P220 with the E2 grips and rail from Cabela's, if I had to choose between them. If I had about $1100, I'd buy an HK45.

Of course, I'm prejudiced on the matter. Had a 97b, didn't like it and had a hard time selling it on the EE. Lost a lot of money on it.
