I took my new (to me) CZ 97 to the range and I have to say I am well impressed. This was my first grouping free hand at 15m. All I did was hold same grip as my Shadow and watched the holes appear.

To anyone looking at getting a .45acp, I would highly recommend you have a look at CZ

I have one, and yes I like. I don't have big hands, nonetheless I don't have much difficulty reaching the controls. The trigger is a little too far out in DA, but I've gotten use to it. In SA, no problem. Just gotta find a good holster for it. Anyone got suggestions.

You can get the 97B converted to a S/A trigger if you want. For holsters High Noon has them in leather I believe and of course Blade Tec for Kydex. Also Penner out of Calgary does excellent work and you could get hold of him and see if he would make you one for the gun.

Mine is perfect and as accurate as yours. I want to put a FO front sight on mine, and add a competition hammer to improve the trigger pull. Unfortunately most of the 97B's weigh to much for IDPA so unless I cut the dustcover back to eliminate the FLDC the gunis dead in its tracks for IDPA.

Take Care

Typical CZ. Great accuracy and ergonomics. I would not worry about the parts thing - Brownells can keep you fixed up. Chances are that you won't need anything as the CZ is built like a tank.

Nice shootin'!
