CZ 97B How good are they

Though I'm very much a novice with just under 1000 rounds through my cz 75B w/ Glossy finish, it certainly appears to be a great gun... Nothing too fancy, though I like the fixed 3 dot sight.

Unlike the other post, I certainly had no problem with grip size, which I find very comfortable and not oversize.

You may not like the fact that it is a single action/double action trigger... First shot pull is great, & you may have to get used to the longer pick up on the trigger. That said, I am very pleased.

Though my brother would argue 9mm are 'bee stings' compared to his .45 cal or .44 mag, 9mm is a reasonable price point if you are not inclined to reload. Also, a .22 barrel conversion kit is readily available from dealers here in Canada.

Tonnes of info on the wide selection in the CZ 75B family of guns @ the cz usa web site.

For what it is worth, CZ 75 B is used by more Governments, Militaries, Police and Security agencies than any other pistol in the world.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one!
If you do buy one, buy 5 mags with it. The 97 I had was sensitive to which mag was in it. I had 4 mags and 2 of them were awesome and 2 were scattergun types. 2 put the bullets in a 2 inch circle and the others were 4-5 inch circle at 10 yards. If it is lubricated propery it would eat almost any ammo. Mine didn't like 200 grain plated SWC bullets till I found a OA length of 1.222 then it ate them consitantly.
For 2 years it was my go to gun!!

+1 on the the "huge" vote: I had both Hogue Grips AND a grip sleeve on my Sig P220 for a while, to give you an impression of how long my gynecologist digits are.... The CZ97 was a handful for me to hold on to!
