CZ 97B pistol

I have a blued one, also. Really nice finish, well put together, shoots well. Some folks with smallish hands, find the grip overly large. Don't often see them stocked in a lot of stores - really have no answer for that - it's a very nice HG at a good price. I'm sure that there are vendors on here, who would be happy to bring one in for you. If you want "blued" you may have to wait a bit longer for it, than their other finish.

I had a chance to try one years ago. It is as good as the CZ 75/85. The heavy frame somewhat tames the recoil. Though I cannot compare it against the classic 1911 and 2011 series, it is still a good .45 pistol. Price wise, maybe not as appealing as 3 yrs back. Not much aftermarket parts as 1911s/2011s, but overall, this pistol is still worth a second look. I first saw this selling for around $ 700 is when it showed up in the Canuck market.

I owned one a couple of years ago—as others have mentioned upthread it's a nice shooter, with the all-steel construction and full-length frame helping to reduce recoil. The trigger pulls on mine were OK—DA a little heavy, SA had a little creep and a bit more reset length than I'd like. The trigger reach, though, was the worst of any handgun I've ever owned. With the factory grips I literally could not reach the trigger in DA mode, while SA was doable but just barely. I've got small hands, but I've had zero issues with guns like the Desert Eagle, H&K Mk23, or N-Frame S&W revolvers. Slim aluminum grips made it manageable but still a bit of a stretch. I wrote a detailed post here when I first got it.
