Cz/ak mod??

Is there any way to modify ak furniture to fit a cz 858?

you can do the pistol grip but the forend is longer on the vz by i think an inch. dont know about the stock.

I'd like to do the same thing with an 858. My carpentry ticket will come in handy

IIRC the buttstock is easy to mod to fit, the grip can either be fitted to the VZ grip ferrule or you can remove the ferrule. Use an AK grip screw or source a longer M6x1.0 bolt. HGs are too short to fit properly. Didnt Curtton make a romy AK/VZ clone?

Then it should be possible to use VZ wood to make an Ak look like a VZ 58

nope, all hand made by a very talented friend(Doug). I find trying to bubba pieces to fit is more pain in the ass then what its worth IMHO.

I agree, that furniture is just beautiful, it makes the CZ-858 look 10 times better in my opinion.

Damn I wish I had a wood shop, I'd probably make a Romy G foregrip for it.
