CZ american vs varmint

There is a difference in the way that these rifles look in the catalogue...

whats going on

is the stock longer on the varmint?
or is its barrel shorter?

You are right on both counts, the varmit has a longer stock & shorter bbl.
varmit bbl= 20-1/2" American bbl is 22'', I shortened the forend on my Varmit so that it is in proportion to bbl (My rifle,my taste) just thougght it looked kinda goofy with thelong forestock & shorter bbl.
