Hey folks,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find a CZ Bobwhite in 12ga or 20ga(preferred)? When I didn't have the cash on hand to pick one up everyone was carrying them. Now that I have the money to spare I can't find one to save my life.

Thanks

I take it that you have already pre-determined that the Bobwhite fits you well. Should the intent be to chase partridges only then a 20ga would be very nice indeed.

IMHO, the Bobwhite is still the best thing going so far for somebody looking to pick up a more traditional type of bird gun at a very reasonable price.

There are times that I still lament selling my 28 gauge Bobwhite - WHAT A SHOTGUN!!!:)

+52 or so on Prophet River. I picked up a Partridge (Bobwhite with a coin finish instead of the case colouring) in 20-ga from Clay last year. I didn't so much fall in love with the gun as I instantly developed a depraved unholy passion for it, and immediately ran out and picked up a matching 12-ga.

Buy. One. Now.

It seems that the supply has dried up just at the wrong moment for me. I'm planing on it being my grouse/woodcock gun, hence my preference for a SxS 20ga.

I've looked through all of the sponsors with no luck so far. Who is the Canadian importer for CZ?

One could always order one......usually wait times shouldn't be much longer than 2-3 weeks. I hope you had an opportunity to check gun fit cause it may be difficult to effectively hit the side of a flying barn! :D

My opportunities to reasonably get my hands on even slightly less common firearms before buying them are sometimes limited. If it doesn't fit well I'll either 1) get it fitted when I have the opportunity or 2) flip it on the EE and eat the loss.

Where do you live? If near Edmonton, you could try throwing my Bobwhite 20 ga. up to your shoulder. If not in the Edmonton area, there's probably someone in your area with one you could try for fit.

I have a CZ Partridge 12 ga ( think is same with the one you looking for) 1 year old I`d let it go for 750, live in Windsor area,Ontario

Clay sold me a Bobwhite in the famous 16 gauge. It is the best value out there. It is well balanced fits me perfect and its a 16 gauge. (did I say that already?) I also got it on sale. You cannot go wrong with a CZ and Clay at prophet.
