Yeah Marstar will give you the original barrel regardless of length. You paid for it so why not hold on to it. Maybe one day you want to register and convert into a restricted?

I'd certainly want the option to restore it's original configuration (and sadly it's restricted status as well).....maybe if the CPC wins an election or two I'd feel a little better about getting it done.

They can't just make 16" carbines materialize.

At least Marstar is attempting to get NR rifles made for people that they have had deposits from for close to a year.

Thank you for this, we really are trying our best. At this point, it would have been simpler to just refund deposits.

We feel as though CZ is ultimately responsible for the delays in getting the correct NR Factory version of the rifle to us to deliver to our pre-orders. Barring that, we felt we had a moral responsibility to offer something palatable to the clients who trusted us with their order. We realize that you generally prefer the 16" model, we've done everything we can including trying to procure the rifles from the USA directly (Blocked due to non-competition/exclusivity agreements already in place) to make these available. Huge shout out to DLASK for helping us with this project

We did, emails were sent in batches, in order, to customers on the pre order list. If you didn't get an email yet it's because there are people who ordered before you.

Yes, same price, yes you will get to keep the 11" barrel

Full payment is due when you commit to the conversion, we are sending out invoices today and tomorrow.

If we can all just keep our pants on, I think in the end everyone will get what they want.

I just got off the phone with MARSTAR to verify payment details on my invoice and trust me, from the short conversation we had in the time they had to spare, they are doing multiple juggling acts right now to satisfy everyone.

Just imagine the Excel spreadsheet from hell they must be working with to keep all these orders straight, as people pay up, or ask about payment plans, or pull out of their order, or ask about getting their order fulfilled but no longer re-barrelled, etc etc etc.

Kudos to MARSTAR and let's focus on the real goal, getting as many of these CZ's out into the wild, in our grubby little hands and rejoicing at the tremor each shipped rifle sends rippling through Liberalandia.

Are we able to pay the remaining balance in May (closer to the rifle arrival) without losing our 16" converted pre-order?
 
Quick question for the ones who received their invoices: did you get charged for shipping twice? I paid my deposit plus $70 shipping last may and now I got the invoice for the remaining amount, where I was also charged $72 shipping again…….

Yes- i just called them - they are now aware of the issue.

They said they will let billing know - eventually the duplicate shipping will be refunded. They are just swamped like crazy right now. He assured me it will get fixed.
 
Oh that’s good. I got charged another 125$ for shipping. I figured it was them sending it to Dlask and back. Rifles turned out a bit more than I was expecting to spend. But is what it is ��

Shipping cost is $142 on my invoice but I already paid $72 when I preordered :( This has to be a mistake
