There are pros and cons to the UK suppressor law. Imagine every gun that you want to buy is 500 to 1000 bucks more because you are required to have a can on it.

Lets use Quebec as an example, winter tires are now mandatory. Every new car is 1200 to 3000 more because you have to buy a second set of tires within the first 1 to5 months after your newly purchase vehicle.

I've never heard of cans being mandatory in the UK but even if they are they can be had for as little as $100-200 I'm told, but the real question we need to be demanding politicians answer is why are mufflers mandatory on cars but illegal on guns?

A fake aluminum suppressor costs $100. I wouldn't trust a $100 real suppressor.

I just saw the Forgotten Weapons vid on this interesting rifle and got a bit excited when I heard it's based on the AR-18 and there's already a US civilian version. Very interested on the official legal status here in Canukistan.
