CZ Bren 2 Rifle - 14-Inch Barrel

Meh. I made mine non-res. No sniffles for me.

No sniffles here either. I've just completed my 3rd weekly range trip with the 14" Restricted Rifle and I'm absolutely enamored with the Bren 2. I've since added the HBI Selector Switch upgrade and the Extended, Cantilever (Downrurned) Charging Handle. I have the HBI Trigger upgrade and a Haga Defense Large Backstrap still on order.

The way I see it, I get to enjoy the Restricted Rifle all Summer and can always buy a "Pinnochio" NR Rifle if and when they become available this Fall. The only glitch in that plan is that the Lieberals already stated that they are going to add another 500 makes and models to the previous OIC this Fall as well. It may therefore come to pass that no NR versions make it to market before they are reclassified as Prohibited. If that worst case comes to pass I will at least have had this summer to thoroughly test, evaluate and enjoy the CZ Bren 2. Those who wait for the NR version may never get that opportunity....

I wouldn't hum and haw about making the purchase if I were some of you fence-sitters. The Bren 2 comes with a perfectly adequate Buffer Tube Adapter so that you can affix any AR Buttstock of your choosing. You can always add a Factory CZ Buttstock later on once the current shortage has been addressed.

Yeah, liberals say a lot of things. They can't deal with their 1500 list after over 2 years. I'm skeptical if anything ever happens with their fairy list.

Where is the source for the additional 500 models to be banned?

Watch the original News Conference regarding the Handgun Freeze in its entirety, including the remarks by both Trudeau, Medicino and Blair. It is clearly and specifically mentioned within the Liberal announcements about forthcoming regulations in the Fall of 2022. The number of intended prohibs may have been smaller now that memory serves, so say somewhere between 350 and 500 additional models, subject to verification of the approximate number. Regardless, I can't believe that so many folks missed that part of the news conference....

PS: I don't have a time-stamp and will not make myself sick to my stomach watching that Lieberal glee-fest again just to find it. You will have to do your own research now that you know where to look. Believe me, it is there. I wish it weren't, but it is....

I didn't miss it. It was the driving impetus for myself to get the Bren off the books asap. I don't trust these clowns for one day.

I now have a room full of "Pinocchio barrel" rifles with rezzie barrels waiting alongside. Except two that logistically and technically are too difficult to elongate.

I got a bren coming. 3k today is basically 6 trips to the grocery store. A side effect of stagflation is people will continue to believe their money will be devalued… With money becoming more and more worthless, I decided to roll the dice. I have made a killing on some rifles including an ACR. After all, the budget balances itself! Lol.

$3K?

I thought these were more like $3500.00+taxes and shipping? I think you got one hell of a deal?

$3K (plus tax and shipping), has always been the cost of the Restricted rifles from either IRG or NS. It is the Non-Restricted, extra long Barrelled rifles that some vendors were pricing at $3K(+) for the base rifle on a Fall 2020 pre-order.

Ah, thanks.
