if only IRG would get them done with an 18 1/2" barrel in the US and import them already non restricted that would be great,the modified in Canada barrel is pretty rich for what it is,made in the US would probably be 1/2 the price or less,

Good idea, but there is a huge risk for them to build such conversion kit under the C-21 shadow as 18.5 is mainly for Canadian market. IRG should develop 7.62<>556 conversion kit first, there build be huge demand just in States alone.
