CZ Canadian 17HMR

Can you swap barrels with the CZ 455 Americans? I got the American combo in .22LR and .17HMR barrels earlier this year and I would think about buying a Canadian (probably .22WMR) if I could swap my .17HMR barrel to it.

455's use the same action just different weights and lengths of barrels. The stocks are different between models.

I am looking forward to getting mine in 22! I will probably pick up an 17hmr barrel too.

you'll have a full set, and yes you can swap the barrels on the CZ455 with any other CZ455, although the american barrel would look mighty silly on the tacticool stock.

This are the same rings I went with. The scope is from a remington 597 package gun and will be replaced pretty soon. It has quite a bit of room to clear the bolt.

I picked up 3/8 rings because every description I've found for the gun said it has 3/8 dovetail but I see the 455s all listed as 11mm (and you guys confirming that's what you have mounted).

1.5mm make that much of a difference or am I good?

All 455 are 11mm.

Dem............as in plerrawll?

No. No. Just one for me, one for my buddy. Calm down Looky. :p

But I'll let you in on a sure bet - if I like the .17 Canadian, I will be ordering a .22 and a .22WMR. Only makes sense to keep things nice and balanced. 3 Americans, 3 Canadians. Will also probably need a 455 FS to keep the 452 FS company.
