CZ competition hammer

it really is worth it, the single action becomes clean and crisp. gunnar in BC and Roger in Ontario are the two top cz guys, but fitting the hammer is itself fairly simple. Sometimes they just drop in and sometimes they need to be fitted to allow the safety to work.

Where is " Roger in Ontario" located?

I have a Shadow and it does NOT have the competition hammer. I have ordered one from Angus and I will see if it makes a difference. The s/a is great but the d/a is terrible. I like the gun and the way it shoots but I don't think I will keep it if the new hammer doesn't improve the d/a pull.

I though the Angus verion of the Shadow was not Production Legal? (assuming you are using it for IPSC)

buying the complete gun from Angus is not legal(Due it it having a trigger job on it) , buying parts from him to add to your existing legal SP01 is perfectly legal.. Sending your existing SP-01 to him to add parts to (but do not do a trigger job) is also perfectly legal. It's no different then getting those exact same parts, and adding them yourself, or getting a gun smith to do it. you just can't get them to "do a trigger job" on it, they can only drop in the OFM parts.
