CZ front sights width

Hello all,

I would like to replace the front sight on my CZ85 Combat with the factory fibre optic. I know I need to the 5.5mm high sight(1mm FO rod) but see that there are 2 different dovetail widths and I am not sure which one is needed - 2.75mm or 3.1mm.

I am not keen to remove the current sight to measure it as I don`t want a sightless pistol while wait for the part to arrive.

I like the wide one but most people like the narrow one.

Will both fit? I guess it's just tight fit vs easier fit but they design for the same cut out in the slide?

Isn't the wider one for the TS?

I checked with CZCustom and they said its the blade width- I thought it was the dovetail width! I guess it depends how much precision you want in the sight picture (how much gap around the front sight). They recommend the 3.1mm as its most popular.
