I have a kit that I am going to use on a SPO1 Shadow lower. Is the factory hammer spring strong enough for reliable ignition? I assume the 13 lb is not. Thanks

I ran mine with both the 13 and a 15. The kit I have really likes the federal bulk pack stuff. Good ignition and it was doing about 3" groups at 50 yards. It shot well enough to get me a sharpshooter classification in rimfire for NRA Action pistol on the Bianchi Cup course of fire.

Ok. I have a 13 in it now as it is my ipsc production pistol. I wasn't sure if I needed to change it out or not. Any ammunition you can recommend to avoid? Thanks again

Congrats czed...it's a great .22kit....shot a buddy's last weekend....loved it...he was running fed bulk too...

I have a CZ75b and a CZ75b Omega. Omega has a 13lb spring IIRC and the 75b is factory stock thusfar.

The 13lb spring is about 95%. I get occasional light strikes but not so often that it's annoying- being DA/SA is obviously nice in this regard. I've had no problems whatsoever in my stock 75b. If you have a 13lb spring I wouldn't bother changing it unless you're really concerned about getting ignition every single time.

I use CCI Stingers in mine and haven't really felt any need to switch it up since they've given me consistent 2-3" groups at 25m- which is good for me.

Really nice piece of kit.

Use HV rounds as to CCI Minimag, Fed Bulk 525, Blazer, American Eagle HV, Fed Automatch. If you experience FTF/FTE, go with CCI Stinger or any hyper velocity round. Avoid Remington if you have other options as they are dirty. Also, Winchester Wildcat is very unreliable with semi-auto.

I've got a variety of different ammo from bulk to quality match ammo. I look forward to getting out and using it. I added a fiber front sight but may switch to a serrated black front if I can find one. Pretty accurate from what I hear?

Kadet kits I would humbly submit are the best functioning .22 conversion. I might be biased because I have 3 but they simply run any ammunition you feed them.
I have also had great experience with IRUNGUNS although if they don't have the units in Canada you will need some patience.
