CZ Kadet question

Your slide stop spring (inside frame on right side) is out of shape, you could have caused it by forcing slide stop in.

Take the retaining pin out by driving it into frame, inspect the spring and go from there.

I will try this. It is a very good idea. Maybe there is crud in there binding it up or the spring itself is pooched.

Also, try putting slide stop into frame without slide on the gun, see how it operates like that.
Spring should push it in down position. See if there is slop or free play there.
Retaining pin is short, in hourglass shape, you can install it back from outside frame.

Alrighty, just a little update to the gents who were helping me out.

@ CeeZer, I took the slide stop spring and plunger out. Spring was bent pretty good but I straightened it out with some pliers, elbow grease and care. Put the spring and plunger back into place and now the pistol works just like it should.

VERY happy once again with it considering it is a brand new pistol.

***Words of wisdom to anyone who has a Kadet pistol. Be gentle when putting the slide stop back in to place!!!!!!!!!***

Thanks for all the help guys
