CZ Kadet

I got one, works great and chews through any kind of ammo. Accurate and nicely weighted. The trigger is great, all around just great. YES it is pricey but to me at least worth it. :)

I have one and it is one I would never get rid of and after a couple of my friends shot mine they also purchased them and none of us have ever regretted it.

I bought a CZ75 SP01 shadow and then the Kadet .22 conversion kit...could not be happier with both. Pricy? Yes, to be sure, but worth it imho.

I'm not a fan of conversion kits.

Me either...

I would buy a cheap .22 ($300-350 - Ruger/Browning) and whatever other pistol peaks your interest. ie. I bought a Ruger Mk III and a S&W M&P9 Pro for $1200.

Two handguns are better than one.

My wife wanted a full metal frame .22lr that will go bang everytime she pulled the trigger.

In 2500+ rounds, her CZ Kadet never skipped a beat regardless of ammo I put in it. From Walmart winchester silverbox to Lebaron whitebox and everything in between that I find on special.

The only issue I have with it is the "half-slide" being hard to grab and pull back when you have smaller hands(ie my wife).

Otherwise it's the perfect plinker, even if it's on the pricy side of things.

I'd buy anotgher one in a heartbeat.

CZ Kadet is a wonderful pistol.

Buy a SIG in .22 for 1/3 less and be sorry, or pick up one of these (or the kit) and never regret it.

I figured that people must be happy with them because it is rare to see one on the EE. Also i rarely see any special prices or sales on them. Has anyone seen them for a decent price ?

Because they're rarely purchased. Now I'll have all the Kadet loyalist jumping down my throat!!!

Ruger dominates the .22 market for a reason.

I got mine for something like $725 but this was a couple of years ago now. I added some Hogue rubber grips, too.

I'd find it hard to expand on the comments so far. Put the right ammunition in it and you almost can't tell it's a .22lr but the best part is you can put any kind of .22lr ammunition in it and it won't miss a beat...if it does, just pull the trigger again.

You're right, I've been keeping an eye on the EE for months now. I recently lucked out and snagged one of the EE. Was super happy I was able to get it. Can't wait for it to arrive. The funny thing is, I was actually ready, and about to buy one through a retailer the next day, after realizing they're very difficult to find second hand ..... so I bought more mags (from a CGN sponsor)with the money I saved dealing privately.

Had a Ruger Mark III (Hunter w/7 inch fluted barrel). Very nice gun, shot great, ate everything and smoothed out nicely after a couple thousand rounds, but was too much hassle to put back together after cleaning. I sold it.

You are correct, Ruger does dominate the market...with very reliable but ugly ,awkward to clean 22's.

Sure, don't forget the $500 discount when compared to the Kadet ;) That's a LOT of .22 ammo...

Besides, at around that price point wouldn't you want a better shooting .22 like a S&W Model 41?

Two handguns are better than one.

Oh how you are so right. And 3 is better than 2. And 4 is better than 3 and so on and so on and so on.........

Ive never shot one myself but those things are tanks. I think its worth the money. The thing would never wear out.
