OK every one, Just putting a note out there so that all may know this!
I Have been using my BE as a production gun for ipsc. I have maybe put 2000 rounds through it. I was told that it was perfectly fine to use the CZ mags in place of the magnum research ones, which are more expensive. I have come to find out that the magazine follower is slightly smaller on the CZ mags and will eventually wear to the point that it sneaks past the slide stop! This has caused my mags to require being pulled out as opposed to falling out when I hit the mag release. Also, this causes the slide to close on an empty mag instead of staying open once I've run out of bullets!

So, this being a word to the wise... if anyone is in the market for fresh mags for the BE make sure you don't skimp if you want your pistol to perform normally down the road.
I may be an isolated case, but all three of the CZ mags I bought were doing this to me.

I had similar issues with early Tanfoglio mags in a CZ85. They look alike, but just aren't interchangeable in the long term.
