Hi All,
I’m looking to find options how to mount a red dot on my CZ OMEGA 75b.
If anyone knows where I can find the red dot adapter mount or a gunsmith who can mill my slide I would appreciate the info.

Im considering, Optic HOLOSUN 507COMP.

1) Adapter plate
Or
2) Custom milling of the slide

Thanks,

Blackbox customs is typically highly recommended. Ideally I would like to buy a second upper assembly so I don't have to modify my original slide.

They dont do Shadow 1 or the Orginal CZ slides. They wouldnt do my SP01. Then there is the whole, forcing you to get the part finished because they're afraid when you sell it. Personally they should do what the customer asks.

Joseph Wu was the only one that would mill a non CZ S2 slide

Interesting, thanks for the heads up.

The least invasive way is this: **Image and video linking functions will be enabled after you have contributed more to the forum**. com/product/mepro-micrords/?ml=ML-880501

I haven’t used it though as my pistols were optics ready from factory

Mine lasted for 1500 rnds or so.

How / what failed?

It seems Meprolight carries one year warranty, not very reassuring. Might still be ok for occasional use.

After a while the dot would turn off randomly. Yes, still ok for occasional use - as long as you don't have to rely on it.

Unless you plan on running suppressor height sights for a co-witness, most mounts will make your irons useless, this opens you up to purchasing a mount that uses the rear dovetail sights as a mounting platform too.

You can get Dovetail optic mounts for CZ75s so I'm assuming those would work, they are also available in many footprints, the 507comp, off the top of my head uses RMR footprint (don't quote me on it, your local gunstore can check and confirm, or holosun could let you know), so any CZ 75 Omega dovetail mount for an RMR should allow you to directly bolt the holosun onto it

Lowest rear sight mount you can get is the Luepold. But I had one and had to add some shims under the mounting piece.

But not everything has to co witness.

But this is my Shadow 1 with S2 plate, milled by Joesph.
