CZ owns COLT now

Colt has lived by his brand name for over 30 years without any significant investment in R&D and a significant drop in QC. Quite the opposite for CZ.
Definitely a great news

It's a good thing for the CF pistol contact, there's now a handgun maker who'll actually share their pistol design with Colt Canada. P10 for the CF anyone?

I was thinking that too. To be honest I would take anything to replace the BHP. I think of the products from CZ the P10 would do well for us.

Cheers

CZ will push some cash into the company to allow for more production of some of the Colt fine products. Quality should go up. This should be considered a "save" for the shooting community. Good luck to CZ

A million percent a good thing. Things can only do up for the Colt brand. They have not done anything revolutionary in decades. It was a matter of time. They're like the blackberry of the firearms world.

I am right with you.
They should grab the Coonan design and produce it. A polymer gun ? Why not - they should develop a gun to US Army specs. Sig P320 is not an old design and it won. B & T won the sub machine gun US Arms forces competition.
Colt - Cz need to think out of the box. They have the means.

I love 70s and 80's era colts, but when you go to a store and try out a brand new one, there's just no comparison in quality. Sure there may be a factor of break-in and wear, but My dad had a brand new 1911 way back when, and that thing was like running polished marbles over glass, right out of the box.

CZ guns don't have that old colt bluing, but imagine what they can accomplish now that they own the formulas and the processes. Imagine a Shadow 3 in colt blue. I'm legitimately excited about the possibilities, I think CZ is a customer-oriented company at this point in its existence, and I don't think colt has been for a while.
