A good friend of mine waited to long to buy another pistol ( I told him as soon as the freeze was announced ) and now he's scrambling to find a Shadow1. Still the odd Shadow 2 available but above his price range by a bit. He currently doesn't own any CZ's but I told him that I own both the P10C and the Shadow1 and love them both. He's looking at maybe the P-09 as they are still available at a couple places. I have no experience with this model and was hoping someone could tell me their experience with it so I can relay the info to him. Thanks.

Great gun. It was great value for money before the panic. Heavy DA pull that can be rectified with a set of after-market springs. With a 22LR Kadet kit, you would be set for life.

Oley's has the CZ-P09 for $799 minus 10 % sale, cheapest I have seen.
