I had the pleasure of using a CZ P07 Duty chambered in 9mm Luger.
I have put about 70 rounds through it, at 5,7, and 10 yards, using Federal (50 rounds) and S&B (20 rounds) 9mm 115 grain TMJ ammo.

Impressions:

-Small slim grip and firearm (US original barrel is at 3.7", I used the mutilated, longer Canadian barrel version)
-Fits well in my palm for a small firearm (I'm 6'4")
-Fixed sights right on the money, tight, grouping 6-8 rounds out of 10 really tight at slow fire rates
-Could be really good for concealed carry (South of the 48th)
-The slide is very thin (vertically), a tad unusual at first to pull and let go of it, but not a significant drawback overall
-Feeding, extraction, handling at 5 out of 5 for the money
-PRICE in the mid 600's give or take.

I'll post some target photos mañana, after I put some more rounds through it.

Look it up, folks, it could be the next best thing after sliced bread and David Miller's decision of not running again for mayor.

Ouch...ripped for a typo....Sorry 'bout touching "9" instead of "8"...Good thing the IBC keeps records of the border, otherwise we'd have places like Point Roberts being in Canada....

Yey for a range report ^.^
Been reading about these since it popped up on the forum. Been tossing back and forth between different brands and models for my first centre fire restricted purchase... And this one looks like it might be adding itself to the list >< decisions decisions @.@

Looking forward to a more thorough reports and of course, pics :D

Just bought the CZ P07 Duty!

I just bought the CZ today, for those of you interested :D I can't wait for the transfer to come through, so I can have my way with it at the range!
Fun little thing, I will post photos! This one's a keeper for a long time, for sure!

Greg CZ is introducing a threaded barrel version of the gun to the US market. In doing so they are shipping to Canada a 4"+ version to Canada without the threads. The gun complies with our barrel length restrictions. The gun is IDPA legal.

I handled one when I was down in Washington in November. Very nice pistol. The gun has a decocker that can be swapped out with a manual safety. The additional part is shoipped with the gun.

The P-07 had some teething problems relating to the grip/mag release early but these have been resolved. This gun and the Phantum are the sleepers in the CZ line. The P-07 is very accurate and reliable something you would expect from the CZ line. It would be nice if they fitted the P-01 and 75D Compact with the longer barrel as well. Both pistols are very nice.

Take Care

Bob

Sorry for not posting pictures yet, still waiting for the transfer to happen....As soon as that's done, I will post picutres of the virgin one in it's box, dripping oil as it should :D
and of course target photos, as well.

I agree. The P-01 is an awesome little gun, with balance, ergonomics and reliability second to none. I would buy a restricted one in a heartbeat.

They come with the decocker part. The switch is easy to do.

Did you buy one in Canada that came with the part? I did and it didnt come with the part. Just came with a bore brush and cleaning rod(plastic). The manual stated it was an optional part.

I think I will check with P+D and see if their guns come with it. I wasnt to happy with the deal that went down with the gun so I guess I need to make sure they didnt take it out and put it on the shelf for resale. The box looked like it had not been opened but you never know.

For anyone else that bought one here did you get the decocker in the kit??
