CZ P07 Duty

I'll let you know on Friday, however, I will tell you this: The one I bought had the safety already installed (no-decocker). Apparently the Decocker comes installed on the guns in the US, so I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't get one either like yourself.

That being said, I really have no use for a decocker and would prefer a manual safety, especially if it's frame mounted which the Duties are.

What was it that made you unhappy about the deal?
 
I bought it thinking my normal dealer didnt have it and paid alot more then I should have. Also had major issue getting my temp att with these guys. Never had an issue before. I finally had my temp att faxed to myself instead of them. Wasted about 4 hours of my time when it should have taken about 10 minutes.
 
I was the 1st one to try the P-07 at the club last week, when they just got them in. Not bad for the price. My group size was double of what I do with the Shadow, but I thought that was pretty good for plastic. The trigger felt really gritty, but maybe its because the gun was brand-new. A good trigger job would probably solve that problem.

If I'm not mistaken, Target Sports has it for an introductory price of about $630.
 
CZ P07 Duty sells at Target Sports for only $625, and really not bad at all, come think the US MSRP is $597. I learned a lesson since moving to Canada....take US Pirces, add 30% and then, tax... :(
Anyway, I just picked mine up today, and I'll be shooting it tomorrow. My grouping was really tight with the range gun, and having shot the shadow (great gun, of course) I can say that it's phenomenal for the money.

CZ P07 Duty, her first day at the range :)

I have just come back from the range, having shot my brand new (not anymore) CZ. I went with Federal FMJ 124 and 147 grain, respectively.
I began at 5 meters, 50 rounds of 115 grain, just to "warm things up". Then, I switched to 124 grain and ultimately 147 grain, shooting 200 rounds in total.
Review:
-Good grouping for a brand new firearm, needs to be broken in (at least that's what I think, I'm only a decent shooter)
-Shoots a tad "low", I got the same impression from seeing friends shoot the same model.
-Comfortable handling and easy return to aim point at rapid fire
-Feeding, extraction, no problem

Score:
8.5 out of 10, maybe it will improve after a few more hundred rounds

The P07 looks pretty compact, but the barrel has to stick out due to the 106 mm rule... As for magazines, I don't know who might have them, but I'm sure they can be ordered from any gunstore (might take a while to get) or even directly from CZ USA or a US Distributor. There are quite a few places in the US where you are limited to 10 round mags as well...
 
I picked up mine this morning and it also did not come with a decocker. I asked the salesman and he said "I didn't know these came with a decocker". I told him that apparently CZ isn't shipping that part with their guns to Canada.

So has anyone contacted CZ about this problem or not? If not, I'll send them an email. I'm getting sick and tired of being ####ed over just because I live in Canada.
 
I would be writing CZ UB or gertting hold of the Canadian distributer and find out what is going on. They are definitely shipped from the factory with both the safety and the decocker.

You guys need to read the manual, it should be as simple as flipping the spring from one side to the other on the safety. Safety or de cocker, it's one or the other.
