CZ Pistols

I love CZ by the way *SP-01 9mm, 858 7.62x39, 513 standard 22lr, 512 22winmag*

I have a 527 Carbine in 7.62x39 - very fine quality product from CZ.

And yes all CZ 75's have a short chamber. After I got one I had to change my reload specs because it was the only gun that would choke on my ammo. But once I made the change I haven't had any issues.

Really? What is you max OAL on your reloads for the 75? Mine SP01 Shadow has never been fussy with and RN ammo. FPs need deeper seating for most of my 9mm pistols.

I don't know about IM's loadings but I found that I have to be at 1.10. If it sneaks up to 1.11 to 1.12 then the shape of some bullets will start to bite into the beginning of the rifling and it can result in a failure to go into battery. A sharply tapered 115gn bullet might make it out to around 1.14'ish before this happens. Most other guns around will easily take up to around 1.14 to 1.15 without any issue even with "fat nosed" bullets.

I have to stick to 1.10" OAL as well, used to load 1.15" before. Keep in mind max OAL for 9mm is 1.169". As mentioned bullet profile makes a difference tho long pointed bullets can be loaded longer than hollow points or bullets with tall 'shoulders'.

Seems short for a RN. Does it group better? My JHP Zeros are at 1.085" but of course a HP.

Seemed short to me too, but that's the length at which all my test rounds dropped free from the chamber. As to groups, I'm still trying to get proficient with this gun, so I can't really say.

A great deal depends on which model you're looking at buying. Like any handgun, it has to fit your hand or you'll never shoot it well. CZ 75's do not fit everybody's hand, but they're high end kit. Would have had one when they first came into the shop long ago, but they're too big for my mitt. sniff.
Vanman. Do or have a trigger job. All new firerarms require it.

My CZ's have easily fed any 9mm round regardless of brand. I have never had a failure to feed. As has been mentioned CZ is a proven design and the most issued pistol by military and police world wide.

The low slide height gives great natural point of aim; rail system and design is second to none providing outstanding accuracy. With an over hand grip racking of the slide is no more difficult than other pistols. If you use the serrations on the back of the slide it is a smaller area to grasp than other pistols but still this is not difficult to action. My Shadow and stainless 75B are easily my most accurate pistols. The trigger on my Shadow is the best trigger I have ever had. The finish on my stainless CZ75B is outstanding; CZ's polymer finish is also very durable but will show rub marks from holsters but so will blued pistols.

The single action trigger on my 75B with the lighter main spring is about the same as my Beretta 92fs with the D spring, both excellent single action triggers. The double pull on the CZ is better than my 92fs because the pull is shorter and appears to be a couple lbs lighter.

Beaverhunter09 you can't go wrong with any CZ.
