CZ pistols

Wow x2

SA bad on a CZ? You have to be joking me. Clunky and cheap? Ok I'm done here...

Laugh2Laugh2Laugh2

LOL....the trigger was horrible??...LOL...compared to what??..PLEASE tell us what you are comparing it to??!!.....PLEASE tell us that you've found the "ultimate pistol" that was delivered to you by God, while you slept!...
I own a CZ75 and owned a 85 combat, and have shot several different pistols(in the last 25 plus years.) Ive shot comp with both of them (CZ's) and done very well. And IMHO, (for the money) a CZ shoots just as nice as many high priced pistols and is just as accurate in the right hands!....LMAO

.....ahhh just fun'n wi'cha, thats all.
But thats some funny sh!t right there.....

A Pre-B CZ75 was the most accurate 9mm auto I have owned to date (and I have owned a few, 1911s, S&W, Glock etc).

The only reason I let it go was the sights on it. Prev owner had set it up for bulls eye shooting, big and gaudy.

An 85 combat is on my must have list.

the Canadian Edition guns are a different breed compared to the regular Shadows (elsewhere they are called 2012 or 2013 models, Specials and other things). They are handpicked, hand fitted to closer tolerances and finished much nicer than a regular Shadow. Is it worth it? Well I'd happily buy another one if I saw a new one.

My buddy has all kinds of CZ's. Have had the opportunity to use them all, and like none of them except the Checkmate.

f:P:

???LOL...really?....wow..do you mean the "Czech Mate?".....not called "checkmate".....and besides its a completely different beast, to the rest of the CZ line.

the Czech Mate, is an open division IPSC race gun. Nothing more. And its only designed to shoot the lowest power factor in ammo loads. It just meets the minimum requirements of 160..(according to CZ-USA).
Nice pistol, but the price is waaaay up there!

yeah, pass down the number of the dealer you are buying from. That sh!t is a killa!

And i Quote

sfbruner "The 75b and the 85 felt real clunky and cheap. The SA trigger was horrible.

The shadow was a bit more solid."

You gotta be smoing something.:onCrack:

I have a p07 duty in 9mm. Great little pistol everyone that had shot it loved it. Only problem I have with it is that the sights are plastic and not pinned. The front site slides in from the front and if you unholster it there's the possibility of it being nugded outor ripped out. Alittle gorilla glue fixes that tho. Over all tho the omega trigger is nice. Long pull but it is light. Its a DA/SA. Polymer frame. Came with 2 mags. A good buy.

I baught it locally yes. Its barrel is extened but I beleive tthat's to meet the federal requirements for barrel length. I have a thread showing my firearms. Check it out and it in my hands and next to a full size 19111

Before I bought mine, 3 noobs, myself included and a 85 combat owner shot a variety of handguns. I asked the other guys what pistol they liked the best, all picked the CZ Shadow. Also had shot B92, M&P, Glock,Sig.

My Shadow is very reliable even after 25000 rounds. The trigger reset does take a little getting used to but has a short reset once you figure it out.I also liked the Sig initially but don't like how they recoil at all compared to my shadow.

I think some CZs are the best guns you can buy - particularly the 75 SP01 Shadow. Proven, Accurate, reliable, and well made. Comes standard with FO front sight and with 3 mags for under $850 new.
Sig Sauers are great guns too with better finish but just as good built quality - more money, one less mag too but essentially based on the same platform as CZs - Browning High Power.
The Berettas that I have handled and shot feel big and clunky - but I would attribute that to mil spec designs. Didn't find the one I shot to be very accurate either.

You like the gun that is most NOT like a normal gun? Only a very specific, expensive formula 1 racing toy with lots of gimmickry and doodads to be used in a very specific competition only?

I dunno, I just find that very strange.
