CZ Question.......

Is the CZ 452 Youth and CZ452 Scout the same beast?
How does the 513 fit in?
Thanks.

I've not often heard the Scout referred to as the "Youth" but yes, they'd be the same gun.
The Scout is scaled down for the younger shooter with a 1.75" shorter length of pull & a 16" barrel - a barrel length much desired by some and used on one version of their 452 Varmint. Great gun for a kid - or replace the stock with a full-size one & it's a great gun for an adult.

The 513 is a cheaper version of the full size 452. A non-checkered beech stock, sights not as good and a heavy, non-adjustable trigger that's a pain to tune to improve. From what Ive read, most consider the 513 too compromised to choose it over a 452 to save a few dollars.

Hope this helps.

From what I understand, 452 youth and 452 scout are the same. They are a 452 action with 452 trigger, shorter barrel and shorter lop in a beechwood stock. The sights are inferior to normal 452 sights.

The 513 has its own action, it has a lower quality trigger and lower quality sights (same sights as scout) but barrel is full size, stock/lop is full size and stock is also beech.
