Is the 12 grove rifling in the ultra match any better then the standard CZ rifling? If so why is not used on more models ?
How does this compare with the micro grove Marlins?

There's nothing to indicate than any CZ models with factory barrels are any more accurate than others, including those with 12 groove barrels. If they were CZ would use them on all their rifles. What makes one CZ more accurate than another is luck of the draw in that some factory barrels are pretty good, others are middling, while some just didn't come out right.

My cz 452 varmint shoots cci blazer into a tiny little chewed out hole at 50 yards. Tried Aguila ammo and i shot a 20 round group at 50 yards slightly wider than an empty 22lr casing is tall. Impressive. Nothing to worry about here. Just grab a cz. Best Buy for a guy who can not afford a 2000$ anschutz

Brno/CZ have been playing around with 12 groove rifling since the late 60's, I have a model 2 from 68 and a model 5 from 74, both with 12 groove. I don't think they are noticeably less accurate, but at the same time, they aren't my most accurate Brnos either. They do shoot quite well, but like any 22 rimfire, you need to find the ammo they prefer.
