CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Carbine and Pistol - FRT APPROVED - Restricted

Then count me in.

I don't really do restricted anymore, but I think I can make an exception for this one.

And the lower of EVO is just a small plastic part, and it is not hard to make an aluminum one.

With the price of EVO at 1200, it won't be breaking the bank if someone can make a conversion lower to use either Glock mag or LAR-pistol 10 rounders. This will involves some engineer effort to ensure the feeding cycle could work with the EVO bolt carrier ramp. Looking at the EVO bolt carrier, it is pretty straight forward, so it could be possibly done.

Wake me when it can run 10 round mags and be non-restricted.

Edit: After reconsidering, I would be OK with a restricted 10 round Scorpion.

Thanks for the link. If/when I proceed it will be with Wolverine. I see them as "our" friends in Canada and Lord knows our community needs all the friends it can get. So to me cutting a friend out, the one who did the work, to save a few bucks is a mistake, it's not right. Just my two cents. Cheers and a big congrats to John and crew for making this happen.

Well said. Me too.

Just looking for a recap here.... So the out of the 2 evos submitted, one a pistol, one a carbine, what FRT status did they truely get? Was the pistol classed as a handgun? And the Carbine Restricted by length? And for mags, they both share the same mag right? If so is it pinned to 5, so the pistols only get 5 rnds ?? Wolverine hasn't been very clear on this...

Wolverines thread states that all magazines will be five round regardless of pistol or carbine registration. Hopefully someone like Bernier becomes the next PM, these idiotic magazine limits need to disappear.

CTCS are you guys gonna start importing scorpion aftermarket parts? Grips selectors stocks. I will be putting a Zhukov magpul stock when I get one

Well said! Not all about saving few bucks! Look at the big picture.

i understand your commnet about Gloack mag, butu LAR10? LAR is 5.56 whereas EVO is 9mm? Or do LAR-15 mags exist in 9mm config
