CZ shadow 2 best mags? and modifications ?

Just a small note for the MecGar +2 baseplates:

Before the craze for these baseplates, I purchased a Shadowline back in 2014 and in the case were these baseplates that clearly did not fit the factory 1/4 plastic mags. Thought nothing of it and left them in the case and haven't opened it for years. I was doing some clean up and opened the case and to my surprise, those extra baseplates were the MecGar +2 baseplates everyone has been after. This was after I purchased a bunch from Marstar so now I have a couple spares.

So take a look and see if you have a couple still in the factory pistol case.
 
this is a dumb question, but with the +2 baseplates, that increases the mag capacity to 12? I thought the maximum legal capacity for restricted firearms was 10?
 
The magazine body is made to only hold 10 rounds (manufactures punch form divets in the steel on 2 sides to block the follower), adding the base plate does nothing more except add more girth on the bottom for better grip of the mag
 
mecgar 10 rounders with +2s is the way to go. Even my friends who shot with nothing but pinned full capacity mags changed to them because they had the same ease of disassembly but easier to get and you don't have to worry about rivets.
