I think the slide stop has broken on one of my Shadow 2 pistols, although I haven't taken it apart yet. The slide stop is working it's way out, so I assume it's broken.

I may as well order some other parts too like springs. I looked at Brownells website but didn't see much for CZ pistol parts, so what is the best source? thanks

When slide stop breaks the external part you activate usually falls out with the other half of the 'shaft' still inside gun held by wire spring.
How do you clean your Shadow without taking it apart?

If Reliable is out try Robin Sebo, Seboweapons.com he has everything you need. I would order a bunch of slidestops at least a couple extractors. a new set of recoil springs and lighter hammer springs too.
If you need it worked on you know a guy too eh, and he loves to come up your way too.... just sayin

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking- May as well overhaul all the parts at the same time, this pistol has plenty of rounds through it. My other one is nice and fresh, time to beat it up a bit. :)

I wasn’t cleaning it when the stop started working it’s way out, I was shooting it, so I’m assuming it’s broken. I don’t clean it often, though.

Well, one sure way to find out is to just field strip it. You'll get your answer in the 5sec if takes to pop the slide release out. If it's in two pieces, you got your answer.

I have three in circulation. One for range use, one for matches and a spare. Eventually the match one will make its way to range use and the spare will end up being used for matches and the a new spare will be picked up to replace it.
