From a buddy...he said only 50 units are coming to Canada on the first batch and only 3 dealers are getting em...Wanstalls wasn't one of them. Apparently the Canadian demand was MUCH larger than they expected and what their production can support.

You'll love the PPQ! Have the PPQ M2 5". Amazing trigger and spot on accurate with that 5" barrel. Also have a CZ Shadow. Another great gun! Can't decide which I like better:)

Have pre-ordered the Shadow 2 ...primarily for it's 5" barrel ...which I'm hoping will break the tie and become my future 'go to' competition gun.

CZ has a reputation for delayed new gun releases. Suggest while you wait for yer Shadow 2...get the PPQ M2 5"...you will luv it!!!

I'm not going to name names....but consider the facts...the order was supposed to be in June (at least that is what I recall), now it say the fall with no updates from the factory....I've played this pre-order game before. It's invariably an over-promise under-deliver situation.

But by all means....hurry up and wait if you prefer.

Looks like Wolverine has gotten theirs....at least some of them. I suspect Wanstalls has not received any...maybe they can confirm?
 
I contacted Wanstall myself and asked if I could pay it in full and they were happy to help.

Sooooo a shooting buddy came into work today and told me he got his Shadow 2 today..... He ordered from another vendor. Is mine going to be at my doorstep soon too?
 
I don't get it? why are these guns in such a short supply? Once they are released, pre-orders should easily be met. They are excellent guns, but so are ALL CZ's!

CZ messed up. They thought it would be a dud in canada for some incomprehensible reason. Maybe they thought their price point was too high, but no one really knows why they thought it wouldn't sell that well.

I wouldn't worry too much though. We live in a capitalistic system, if there's a buck to be made by a company, that company will make it. That means some more will come north of the wall at some point. And if someone's too broke to buy a shadow 2, at that point we should see a couple more shadow and shadowline on the EE.
 
The "first" shipment has technically not landed. A few have hit Canada to get into the IPSC hands this summer and a very few pre-orders were filled. Will post when the bulk lands!
