Does anyone know what happened to the price of the CZ Shadow 2? it just went up $500+ literally over night for the optics ready version.
I remember seeing it at it's lowest price point at $1379. Now it's $1899. Luckily got it at a good price last month or I'd be kicking myself.

Yep. I had one in my shopping cart a few weeks ago.

Then I went looking for a mounting plate and a RDS from other vendors. When I came back to my shopping cart the next day, the price had gone from $1,400 to $1,900. As good a gun the Shadow 2 OR is, it is not a $2,000 gun.

I ended-up with a SIG P226 Legion RXP instead and I have no regret.

I won one in a raffle a couple of years ago. It's the plain non optic ready version. They could be found for as low as $1100 then. I bought the .22 Kadet kit for it and a Pelican case for the works to go in. My LGS can't get any.

I picked up a shadow 2 ts at my local range 1 month ago and the price is already gone up. The guy told me cz started their price increase early , other manufactures have their increase coming in January or February . Just take a look at reloading supplies I cringe every time I pick up a box of primers no fault of the store, the supply chain is drying up

Wow!

Factor in the price of the firearm, the cost of 9mm ammo, and talks of handguns bans. This will have a negative impact on businesses as well as the consumers.

With the recent price jump, I think CZ will be pricing itself out of the fight for the #1 platform for IPSC Production Optics.

The SIG P320 X5 Legion was already working its way up to the top. This recent move by CZ may be just what SIG needed to see its competition-ready pistol sweep-up the first place.

Time will tell. Who knows, maybe SIG prices will skyrocket as well...

I got mine in April of 2021 and paid $1250 + tax. I was absolutely shocked when I saw one at Tenda for almost $2100 the other day. It's a darned good pistol, but there is no way I would pay that kind of money for one now. Plenty of other comparable pistols out there for a lot less cash.
