CZ Shadow 2 !?

I don't even know if they are on any order sheets right now dude. But I'll find out what I can in March

I don't mind the grips but hope they have a Canadian logo'd ones available when they send them over. I'll be asking that question at IWA

I hope they make some Can logos for yours Slavex & thanks confirming its coming. Unfortunately I think us retail buyers will have to wait even longer for the CZ Shadow 2 "Canadian Edition"
.. the mag release looks like an improvement also.
Really looking forward to its Canadian release date.

the mag release I will need to play with, I don't have a problem with the existing, and for table starts that might be a deal killer

I asked an Austrian IPSC shooter acquaintance of mine if he new anything about the Shadow 2. Like Slavex, he also hopes to get more details at IWA.

I like the look of both the grips and the mag release location. I have small hands and my CZ 85 combat mag release is difficult for me to operate smoothly so I took a pass on a CZ shadow as it felt similar in my hand. My thumb doesn't quite reach the button and I have to change my grip quite a bit to press it. I hope this is will work better for me. I'll get in line for one of these for sure ... maybe with red grips ... :)

I'm not liking the Tanfoglio look. Wish they kept the original trigger guard shape. Checkered front and back straps should be stock on the whole CZ line now a days.

Inclined to agree about the trigger bar....front/back checkering...meh...I'm a fan of grip tape, never had checkering that I thought gave enough bite...but that's just me

Does anyone know if it will have an ambi slide release? I love my Shadow, but I am left handed and I lose a bit of time slingshotting the slide to rack another round.

Oh well, at least it saves me some money from buying another gun :).

The bump slide release works for 2 of the 8 mags I have consistently, the others sometimes but not reliably. I hit the bottoms hard enough to leave a mark in my hand and it still is glitchy.

It's not the mags, it's the angle of the gun and the way you hit. For lefties there is a better way though, as the bump method will always bite you in the ass. Drop your trigger finger on top of the mag release, not pushing it down, but also not just floating. When you slap a mag in and feel it seat, most likely the gun will move up and your finger will stay in place triggering the slide, or worst case, you press down with your trigger finger. Snootworks does faster mag changes than me many times because of him being a lefty

Ok...so excuse my ignorance...wouldn't polygonal rifling mean that the most prolific pistol in ipsc, wouldn't be able to take hand cast lead rounds....I know Glock doesn't recommend lead in theirs....
