I get my narrow front sights from Dawason Precision.

If I have to get a taller or shorter front sight, I use the opportunity to get a fibre optic and narrow er sight.
But, if elevation is ok, for more white around the front sight I just use a square needle file to widen the notch on the rear sight.
If I am ordering a new adjustable rear sight, I ask them to mill the notch wider to the old fart size.

After filing, the edge is bright white steel. A dab of cold blue takes care of that. Then a wipe of oil or silicon so it does not rust. Looks like new.
