Hello,
Just wondering about how Shadow should be serviced beyond basic field strip/cleaning ?
Particularly, how often is recommended to remove and clean extractor and firing pin ? When slider stop and springs should be replaced (recoil spring and all these small ones).
One option is to run gun until it breaks, but if I want to prevent malfunction, that information would be useful.

Thanks in advance.

OK, not a SP01 owner, but....

Extractors can collect fouling and stop working reliably. I'd suggest checking it at least every 3K.
The cleaner the ammo you fire, the longer you can avoid this job.
Firing pins can break, but the bigger point of failure will be the roll pin holding it in place. As above, periodicly inspect it for excess wear.

The CZ and Colt 1911 pistols periodicly break slide stops and extractors. It's not a bad idea to have a spare fitted and checked.
Recoil springs are wear items. A good rule of thumb is to keep a new spare. When the one in the gun is almost a coil shorter, change it out.

I take my extractor out about every 5,000 rounds. Or before a major match, or when it quits working. 5000 rounds is usually the real mark. I run a different slide stop at matches than I do in practice, and I run the practice one until it breaks.
Recoil springs, I change when it starts to act sluggish, but should be done at the 5,000 round mark too. I use a shock buff so I'm not concerned about frame damage from a worn spring. I just want it to feed reliably. Firing pin spring should be checked when you do the extractor, they go every now and then. If you run a really light hammer spring, change it at 5000 too. Trigger springs, when they break, or 10,000 rounds if you are paranoid.
