Very happy with the gun, Shot 4 types of ammo, Winchester 115 gr., S&B 115 gr., American Eagle 115 gr. all worked perfect but the box of Blazer 124 gr. Aluminum cased had three stovepipes, I plan on getting into reloading so I won't be buying anymore Blazers anyway.
I have fairly small hands so I may get some thin aluminum grips but other than that I will leave it as is.

I've had mine for a couple months and have put about 4k rounds through it now:D

I have changed out my mainspring and glad I did. I'm also going to get a set of thin aluminum grips and install my low profile safety thats been sitting here.

My Shadow has eaten everything so far including Blazer 124gr aluminium cased ammo, but I changed out the factory recoil spring for a Wolff #14 spring from day one.
I also have thin aluminium grips on my Shadow but also look at VZ Grips. They are just a wee bit thicker than thin aluminium and there are some really cool VZ Grips available.

I love my CZ shadow, best firearm purchase I have ever made so far. I have over 1000 rounds through mine, not a single malfunction or failure to feed. :)

Alum cased ammo is not gonna work well in ANY gun.

My brother works at an indoor shooting gallery (unlicensed people can shoot guns which are tethered to prevent them being turned around or stolen) here in Australia and they were using Blaser in 9mm, .40 and .45ACP through their Glocks with no issues whatsoever. I am talking in the thousands of rounds as well.

I have used 9mm and .45ACP myself in several different guns when I ran out of my own reloads and never had a problem.

Gee CeeZer, we all know some guns can be a little fussy with some brands of ammo but that is quite the blanket statement. I admit I haven't shot a ton of the aluminium cased Blazer ammo but it has worked fine in my Shadow & new STI Trojan.
