So I stripped my new to me pistol for the first time tonight. I picked up a set of think blue aluminum grips from Dlask along with the stainless guide rod and buffer. The spring and guide rod are tighter with the buffer (obviously) I will bring a small pair of snips to the range this weekend to trim the spring if need be.

I picked up a 13lb recoil spring but wont be putting it in until I start reload.

I would like to replace the sights to tridium, or maybe trudot, but will have to look up the rules for IDPA/IPSC regarding the sights.

Now for the fun

Maybe I'm a weirdo but I like the factory rubber grips

Mine didnt come with the factory grips. I found the wood grips got slick after 20 mins of shooting. My groups would start decent then get bigger as the grips got slippery. I suspect I wouldnt have had that issue with rubber grips.

Nice setup btw. How do you like the CR speed pouches? Im going to try IDPA this summer and see how I like competitive shooting then look into IPSC.

I like em but I'm not to picky as long as they hold the mags nice and secure,I've never had one come out and the adjustability is awesome. The holster is great though! I originally bought this for my wife becouse she wasn't comfortable using my ghost and after using it I sold my ghost.
