CZ Shadow: Play between slide and frame

My shadow is the same as yours, a lot of play up front.

As long as you are satisfied with your test target you will have no accuracy problems.
My biggest issue with the thing is the stock fibre optic is so gigantic it blocks out the black on a B8 at 25 yards.

Shadow has a very tight-specs with no play at all. Your pistol is defective and needs to be replaced. CRAFM is no longer the service centre, I have heard that DLASK is now in charge of offering warranty services to CZ pistols.

Mine is tight, but yes it does move a little and, if you move it just right, it will make a little noise. The movement is so small that it does not affect accuracy in the slightest. Compared to a number of other pistols I have, this one is the tightest. My S&W Pro is the loosest slide to rail fit and the accuracy of that pistol is very good as well. As said earlier, it is probably a non-issue as long as it shoots well.

OK, my Shadow has some play, but shoots good for me. My test target is not the best though. (I group better than it) We should post the factory test target and include either loose or tight fit. for s-its and giggles.

Thanks John, that's good to know. Out of curiosity, how have you gone through so many shadows?

Thanks John,
Cal.

I had one then traded it off. Decided to shoot PD so I bought 2 more and shot them for a few years. Then I traded them off for 1911's to shoot SD and Classic. Then I shot Revolver for a couple years. Decided to try PD again this year.......Voila!! Another Shadow :)
