CZ Shadow spring question

I was one of the lucky ones and the hammer dropped right in and the safety worked perfectly. As for pounching out the pins... that was not an easy task but do able.

So what kind of problems might one expect to run into while trying to install one? If the only problem is the the manual safety maynot function, then i could care less since I just decock it all the time to safety it anyways. Or does it affect the function of the gun in some other way?

BTW sorry for hijacking the tread, I just figured the guys who would be "in the know" are already watching this thread, so why bother starting my own!

As long as you pay close attention to how the pistol is dissembled, you will be fine. I managed to get mine in despite having terrible dexterity with small objects (there's a good "that's what she said" opportunity...).

The pins on the hammer itself seem to vary in their difficulty to remove...you won't know until you try.

The internet has some good dissembling guides (w/ pics). If you want me to email you some links, drop me a PM. I'll can also show you how to modify your mags for an open bump!

:D

CZUB now has an 11lb hammer spring. I grabbed one from them in Greece (of the two they brought). lowers the trigger pull nicely. still over 5lbs.
Also the trigger pull weights have not changed, that rule did not pass.
