CZ, Shadow systems,MP In Stock NOW at Solely Outdoors -AUG 23

Well, nobody is forced to buy. This is how open market works I guess!

100%. Store is free to jack up prices during short supply caused by political events and I am free to point it out. I know my future business will go to the stores who had the same opportunity to jack prices but chose not to.

Prices are gross but these are ones of the last batches of handguns likely to be imported into Canada. Businesses like this will suffer greatly not being able to sell them further. Supply and demand in a free market economy. Pay up or shut up.

Well $489 is pretty steep for a Tara that other vendors have had for $269-$289 for a long time. I own one and other than the way they crimp the mags they are worth the money.

Thanks for the updates for sure!!! I'd appreciate understanding how many of these models are now priced $200 + over what they were selling for 2 weeks ago... ? CZ P10 SC... $699 - $749 for months.. now suddenly $1049 ??!! c'mon guys.... what's next a $1299 Glock 17MOS ?

If Home Depot was losing the ability to sell their products in a couple months.

Doesn't really make sense to me.. if a place was stuck with stock that they had to move because they may not be able to sell it in a couple months... doesn't it make sense to clear it out rather than jack the prices to the sky?

Importers/distributors/retailers talk a big game about pumping as much of these handguns in customers' hands to stick it to the government, just at a premium price. At least during the great AR15 scare a few years back some retailers had the decency to sell dirt cheap lowers at a great price and multi packs at an even greater price.

As long as there are morons out there willing to pay crazy prices, which there are a ton of, this will continue.

No legislation has passed yet, and we don't really know what the future will bring.

The uncertain environment plus sky high demand is fueling these prices. Until we get some sort of certainty, particularly the legislation, this will continue.

This is capitalism at work. Awesome eh?

Yeah I was expecting retailers and importers to flood the market so we could all pay reasonable retail and budget for what else we want. I cant get the G21 or G19 that I want unless I buy it privately for $1,500 used. I paid $1200 for a new SW 686 6" in SS that was only $1000 a month ago. Just means less firearms with the same budget.

And you talk about other peoples stupid comments ……….

If Home Depot was going out of business…..would the prices of in stock merchandise go up or down ??

Ya…..I thought so.

Who said going out of business? It would be similar to them not being able to sell lumber. They would maximize profit while they could.

Good try padawan, you are still not ready for the trials. lol

So, if tomorrow Home Depot was told in 2 weeks they would no longer be able to sell lumber , do you think they’d put the prices through the roof …..or do you think what would most likely happen is , there would be a MASSIVE sale on lumber sign out front as the store wouldn’t want to be stuck with a crap ton of wood wasting away.

As there has been no firm date on a ban yet……please explain why importers and SOME dealers, continue to pour the c*#k to us all, while at the same time, telling us all to help them move inventory and help them “ stick it to the government “

I got taken on a Shadow 2 here. 1 Mag. What a rip. That said, I was happy to pay it and thank Soley Outdoors for sourcing it long before any others got them in stock. The concern was to get the transfer in PRIOR to the June Security Counsel vote just in case the passed the OIC to the Senate and pushed to cut purchases prior to the summer. It didn’t get through which is great but I didn’t hold any hard feelings toward Soley Outdoors. On the contrary actually, if they take a premium to do some running around and source these from other vendors (not usual suppliers) no biggie to me.
