Truer words have never been spoken. The damn thing should come with an instruction manual. jojo if you want one PM me your address and I'll be happy to send you one. They truly are a waste of good plastic.

Thanks for the offer Bob. From what has been posted, I guess I should pass on the loader and hope that the springs soften up over time. The new mags are a bit hard on the fingers. I do however use my speed loader for my G17 quite often. But hey, that thing goes through tons of rounds every range trip. If the Shadow proves itself to be as good as you are all saying, I imagine my fingers are going to bleed from the loading of the mags. Can't wait till the weekend to pop the cherry on this thing.
 
I just bought a Shadow myself and I have to agree with you guys it is a pretty amazing piece of hardware. I am really looking forward to using it in IDPA SSP next year.

Where is the best place you have found to order accessories for it such as springs? I prefer to shop places people have had good experiences with over google. All kind of crap comes up when I search.

Are there any manuals available out there that cover maintenace, mods, repair etc? I bought a couple of different books for my glock that clearly showed how to take care or and repair basic items that is never in the flyer they ship with these things.

Also I borrowed a friends .22 conversion kit for the shadow and was blown away by how flawless it performed as well so I ordered one of those as well :)

Loading the 10th round into a new Glock mag makes the CZ mags seem easy.
 
CZ has, what I think, the easiest mags on the market to load. Definitely easier than Glock, M&P and XD. Maglula s are awesome and make the job faster for sure. Definitely worth the money if you plan to shoot more than 50 rounds a month.

DITCHDOCTOR: Try czcustom.com. I've ordered many times from them and can't say enough good about it... simple effective service that got me the parts in 2-3 weeks (from the States).

Just remember that the stock Shadow doesn't qualify for SSP... It's too heavy.

There is, however, enough information on how to make it meet weight requirements if you use the search function.

Mine is exactly 39.0 Oz... With a 10 round magazine.
 
I have not tryed my G17 loader on the Shadow, however Saturday I will. I let you know what happens and will give my layman reveiw on the Shadow.
 
Just got back from the range. I really like this CZ Shadow. Nice wieght to it. Very accurate out of the box. I didn't need to adjust the sights at all. No misfires or stoves pipes. I did use my G17 speed loader to help with loading the mags. However you need to wiggle the loader a bit, cause the Cz mags are a little smaller that the Glocks.
I found the DA and SA just fine. I might go with a #13 main spring in the future, but for now I couldn't care less.
I will say though, that I brought out my G17 after the CZ and shot more tight groupings.
Could be the lack practice. I've shot many K through the 17 and today only shot about 130 rounds through the CZ.
Anyone on the fence about buying the gun; I'd say go for it.
It will accompany me ever time I go to the range.
