Hello guys,

Anybody have experience with these firearms? I can't chose between the Woodcock(20ga) and the Ringneck(20ga) . I also like to know which barrel lenght you guys recomend for upland game 26" or 28"?

The Ringneck 28'' BBl they are very well built shotguns I have a Ringneck in 28ga. and I am very pleased with how it handles and have had no mechanical failures with it .
 
X3 on the bobwhite. I hope that you can at least handle a couple of them before you buy. I love mine. The double triggers are a big asset and are very intuitive to use. I found that I didn't have to learn how to use it much - it just all comes together when I pick up that shotgun.
 
The Bobwhite is a good shotgun given it's price range. You may find the 28inch bbls somewhat "bbl heavy" since the firearms are chambered for 3inch....this is not at all a show stopper should you opt for the longer bbls. Although the majority of my shotguns have 28in bbls I consider the 26in a good compromise for Grouse hunting here in ON.

As I understand it, the Turks have supposedly cleaned up their QC issues relevant to models with SST, firing pins etc. However, I would still prefer the simpler mechanism of Bobwhite DTs.

I prefer the 26 inch bbls for grouse in or near the bush but the 28 inch for the more open type upland hunting such as partridge or pheasant.

I've killed ducks and pheasants with my 26" Bobwhite in 28 gauge, and never felt I was at a disadvantage compared to 28 or 30" barrels.
Some shots I made this year were very long on Buffle Heads, chukars,teal,and pheasants.
