So i have an SP01 pistol with night sights and want to change the front sight out for a fibre optic one.

Does any one know the front sight height i would need to work in conjunction with the rear night sights??

Don't know if the front sight is 5.5mm, 6.0mm or 6.5mm???

Any help guys??
 
Well I just ordered the last set of hi viz fiber optic sight set from SFRC so i will change out the front sight and see how thay goes.
If the POI is altered with the difference between the front fiber and rear tritium then I just switch out the rear sights too then.
 
Yep seems like you have found a good solution to this.
Cause i was going to suggest, if already changing F/S i would of just taken it out and measured it.
 
I switched my rear for a comp sight like on the Shadow, but it overhangs the hammer and gets in my way when putting it in DA. Let us know your experience with the FO front with the Mepro rear. I just might try it myself.

I may put all of the night sights back on just to see if my fundamentals have improved or not.

You need a 5.5mm if you are keeping the rear night sights. I just went and measured mine to confirm this as mine has been removed.
