Fully agree. Let's wait for some importers/retailers to clarify as its confusing especially the prices :)

I've asked CRAFM and they say the Canadian is the 2012 model but them WolverinE say the Canadian is $1099 and the 2012 is $1850. It's nuts. Come on retailers please clarify.

Rather than make a premature statement in an attempt to clear up the confusion on models, specifications and prices we are waiting for clarification from CZ. Thanks for your patience.

The image description above is not accurate. As one can clearly see, the silver comes with the new competition hammer. It is my understanding that the new silver model is the Canadian version of the black with orange grip model which appears to be available in Australia. All the retailer needs to do is check to see if the internals are polished. Unfortunately this is totally confusing. I'm also wondering if the silver CZ's were the old hammer versions that simply had the hammer changed?

Thanks for the clarification. I was informed (IPSC Secretary was told by CZ) that the Canadain model was a modified 2012 model. But seeing as the Canadian model is cheaper it cannot be a modified 2012.

regarding the Canadian model (in black polycoat). Can they be ordered with a black rear sight as I do not want a rear fibre optic sight? If so what's the cost of this package?

Hey.. those red aluminum base pads.. anyone know where I can find some? Having a hard time finding replacements anywhere online.
