CZ sp 01 shadow question...

Just bought a new shadow.

The kit came with a extra main spring.

The extra, I understand, may lighten trigger pull a bit.

So I removed the retaining pin.
The main spring plug dropped out 1/8" but now does not want to come out.

Back in ok, but not out.

What to do to get the main spring plug out???

The mainspring should force the plug out the bottom when you remove the pin. I just replaced the mainspring on my CZ 75 pre B and it should be the same. If the plug is not coming out when the pin is removed then maybe it is jammed a bit. To get the pin back in I had to press the butt down onto a hard surface pushing the plug back up to the point where the pin would go back in. The SP01 is the same as other 75's as far as I know. - D

You have to take the mag brake out before the plug will let go since it is a bit heavier that a regular CZ 75 one.
Take the pin at the top of the mag brake out and puush the mainspring plug in to release it.
Reassemble in reverse.
