CZ SP-01 Shadow with Black Barrel?

Are there CZ SP-01 Shadows with black barrels in Canada?

I've only ever seen them with stainless steel barrels in person, but I did read about some being sold with black barrels.

All the ones I have seen have been stainless. I guess you can blue it or send it out to get nitride/parkerized?

Maybe they were confusing them with plain SP-01s? Or SP-01 Tacticals?

Looking at some pictures online, I realize the ones with black (blue) barrels are pictures from Shadow 2s, not SP-01 Shadow.

My Shadow (1) has a black barrel. It showed wear in the area that is exposed when the slide is forward, so that the black finish was worn away, exposing bare metal, but unevenly.

Slightly unsightly to my eye, so I used a bit of fine grit sandpaper and polished that area up to be all shiny steel. I bought the gun from Armco in 2010, I think.

My '08 Shadow 1 came with black barrel, bought in '08 brand new as well. Iirc there were several changes done about mid '09 e.g. rear sight no longer has two set screws but only one, trigger changed etc.
