Everyone's famous duty, competition, or plinking CZ is back in stock! The SP-01 hardly needs any introduction; since its inception this large frame, beefy pistol has been one of the world's foremost metal-frame duty firearms, ideally suited to hard use. Its tolerance of very heavy firing schedules has caused it to become a favorite of shooters around the world, especially for competitors who value its recoil-dampening build, forward balance, and fantastic controls. It's hard to find any range in the western world without a CZ SP-01 in a stall somewhere, and its widespread adoption by lawful target shooters and police/military agencies alike has given CZ quite a feather for their cap.

In stock while supplies last. Ships to you for $10 flat rate as always!

have these been improved in anyway since the last batch - looks like prices increased +20%, yet the CAD has improved against the CZK over the past 2 years (do you guys purchase from cz directly?).

CZ does not sell to international market on the CZK, they sell using USD -- same as absolutely every single other foreign manufacturer. Berettas come to Canada using USD, Norinco M14s came in with the USD, Israeli Tavors are bought using USD, etc. The distributors must price accordingly. Literally nothing in the firearm industry uses a native currency. It has always been traded in American dollars in this era and it will continue to be so until some other market supplants the US as the primary civilian firearm market. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one! ;)

If I buy 2 guns, is it still $10 shipping?

If you buy eight handguns, five scopes, two rifles, and a sling, it's still just $10 flat rate total for all of it. The only thing that can change this is ammo, which has specially marked flat rate shipping. All firearms, optics, and accessories ship for $10 flat.

Laugh2

my nice way of saying holy sh!t - nice guns and i want(ed) one.
i think wanstalls is NOT to blame here, rather whoever they buy from is using the exchange rate as an excuse to grab some more margin given the usd to czk has also skyrocket, more so than against cad movement

shame how prices are so quick to move up and so sticky to come down - i do give most of the cdn retailers credit for not upcharging on existing stock when rates move

(and realizing this isnt the appropriate thread for this, ill stop posting)

thx

Pretty sure you guys throw in free shipping for that much gear. Got free shipping on my last order over $5k to make the deal even sweeter :)

Shhhh, don't give it away!

If the usd increase vs the euro, the guns cost less usd... The usd cost total should be less!?$&@( unless some one need to make more $$$$$!

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough earlier -- the Euro doesn't factor in whatsoever for European-made guns. Or Chinese, Turkish, etc. Ever. At all.

The manufacturers list a price to their distributors in USD. That is paid in USD by the distributor. The USD is strong against the Canadian dollar, varying between 20 and 24% depending on the day. When the distributor buys the USD from their bank with Canadian funds, to pay for the guns, they must spend 20-24% more to do so. Therefore, their pricing must go up an equivalent percentage. Therefore, dealer pricing must increase an equivalent percentage.

There is sadly no shortcut or secret answer here, guys. The USD is strong, the CAD is weak, and all firearm business trade is conducted in USD. Such is life... Canada spends more time with our dollar well below parity than we do at par, so everyone should be used to it by now!

The master of up-selling right here, folks, lol.
If I had any head-room on my plastic, I'd crush it all, and with $10 shipping, too.

That is why I mean, it's cost less but the price in usd stay the same... $ cdn is lower than the usd, we paid more... like gaz. you are not making more money, they...
