Tried it out today for first time... :D

Fired off 50 rounds...grouped really nice. Every shot was inside 6 inch circle at 25 yards.

Never got to shoot it as much as I wanted but when warmer weather arrives I will definitley get out for some more.

Overall I am COMPLETELY satisfied with it, NOT one complaint, not too often you can say that about a purchase nowadays...(except for the 10 round mags, they SUCK:( )

GREAT PISTOL!!!

I am no trigger expert but it is factory.

The double action is long and heavy...not an issue for me because I always shoot SA first round and all followers.

SA I assume will get better over time.

I am doing alot of pratice with snap caps in single action and I plan on picking up a couple thousand rounds and hopefully after that much firing and practice the trigger should get better, if not I will have it done by smith.

Is yours the Manual safety version or the decocker version? I got the "Tactical" decocker version... it's a pain in the ass to take the hammer sear apart and polish them, and even a bigger pain to have to put them back together. But I did it, and the trigger pull felt much better. The gun is also over sprung. So if you get a lighter wolf spring kit the trigger pull will feel much lighter too. Anyway, enjoy your SP-01 because I sure am enjoying mine!

Out of curiosity, does anyone have that glass breaking muzzle protector for the SP01? Hehe...would seem like a funny thing to have...and/or act as an addition barrel weight?

You must have seen it in that little video clip... To me that thing looks very very ugly... wouldn't want to put it on even if it was thrown at me for free. Now, a pistol light to go with this little baby is something else... YUM!

Well it's also on some pics for advertisement.

You mean the ugly thing with a bayonet AND the M6X? Why the heck would you need a bayonet on a handgun anyway? It's just most uncomfortable. If I really run out of ammo I would want to have a real knife with me, in it's sheath, sharp, strong, ready, and comfortable to hold in the hand. You could say that it take time to get the knife, blah blah. But if you are using a pistol, say in combat, you wouldn't be close enough to the enemy to be able to reach him with a bayonet anyway. Silliest thing I've ever seen.

I would like one for my SP-01. I'd use it for opening mail, picking my teeth, chopping veggies... you know, day to day stuff.

:D

Don't forget "whittling on the front porch".

The bayonet dosen't really do much for me. A laser sight would be nice, or maybe a little bullet-cam to snap pictures.

Personally I thought that bayonet was a joke the first time I saw the ads for the SP01. Alas 'tis not....

Actually I'm talking about the muzzle protector with the studs and its own rail for lights/lasers, etc the bayonet attaches to this piece as well. Just would be a fun thing to have I reckon.

The gun itself weights 2.6lb or 1180gr with empty mag. It's already got a rail. Having the "muzzle protector" and the light, and the bayonet, etc would make the gun sooooooooo heavy. That's good in a situation when you want to wack someone really hard. But imagine you accidently drop it on your toe with the bayonet pointing down. OUCH.
